It won’t help with the flare-up, but it will reduce pain if you stick with it.
Yoga involves a number of components. One of those, mindfulness, can benefit anyone with chronic pain. Two others, stretching and strengthening, can reduce fibromyalgia symptoms long-term. In fact, exercise is absolutely the most effective way to reduce your pain… long term.
In the short term, it hurts like crazy.
