Is there a way to synchronize threads in Java aside using synchronized blocks?

Bring in observer and state pattern in your object. That will help you to create a aluring framework which helps you manage complete code better then syncronization.. happy coding

Yes you can synchronized a method... like public synchronized void critial() { // some thread critical stuff // here } Also you can use volatile key word before a variable, this will ensure that the value of the variable is upto date..
