If JavaScript is so bad, why do developers create new frameworks everyday?

JavaScript is not a bad language. There are a great number of deluded JavaScript fans. They are enamoured with front-end/client-side/web browser programming. Many of them believe they can improve on existing frameworks, so they try.

On the contrary, the reason there are so many frameworks out there is because JS is one of the easiest to learn and use. JavaScript is a programming language, and to be able to use any of the modern frameworks, you need a good handle on vanilla JS. Frameworks just let you focus more on business logic than worrying about its implementation. Also, every programming language has a framework that's built on top of it. You name it - C, C++, Ruby, Python, etc To sum it up, JS isn't bad nor any of its frameworks. It's up to the person who uses it to get the best out of them. read less
