I am Japanese language teacher. teaching over 6 years from college Student professional.

it depends how much effort you put it on it. usually 2 hours is sufficient for daily learning.

Also whatever you learnt just keep revising the same in your mind whenever you are free. Watch animated japanese movies. It is fun and will ease your learning process.
