I am Japanese language teacher. teaching over 6 years from college Student professional.

it depends how much effort you put it on it. usually 2 hours is sufficient for daily learning.

I will suggest you not to count time you are devoting to learning Japanese. You need not to sit for long everyday to learn Japanese. You can devote minimum3-4 hours daily but in gap after 2 hours. Also whatever you learnt just keep revising the same in your mind whenever you are free. Watch animated japanese movies. It is fun and will ease your learning process.
