As a school student, I was very curious and enthusiastic about learning new things. I believed in studying beyond the books and cared not only about the academic scores but also (and more so) about feeding my hunger for knowledge and satisfying my curiosity about the world, be it about societies' function or about how atoms assemble, be it about how scientists use a bunch of equations on paper to discover black holes or how light and its properties are manipulated to see microscopic organisms within us. As a college student, I cultivated these interests even more and, even though I specialized in a particular field in my master's, I always kept my various interests alive. I have always been an avid reader, writer, and sports enthusiast and believe in order to be a complete human being, one must be multifaceted.
