Myself a traditional artiste and torchbearer of "Senia - Shahjahanpur" and "Etawah" Gharanas, disciple of Padmabhusan Pt.Buddhadev Dasgupta ji. Took Guidance from Ustad Shahid Pervez Khan and Pandit Niladri Kumar. MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS: (Proofs are ATTACHED in the Single PDF) 1. An "A-GRADE" artiste of All India Radio & TV, Prasar Bharati, Govt of India. 2. "A-GRADE" of commercial industry as well. 3. A NATIONAL AWARD "Akhil Bharatiya Sangeet Pratibha Puraskar" WINNER in Dec 2017. 4. An Empanelled Artist of Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Govt of India. 5. "BEST EDUCATOR AWARD" by Scl Academy, Mumbai, Nov. 2020 6. NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP (Govt.of INDIA) 7. Ex-ITC Sangeet Research Academy Scholar, Kolkata. 8. Pt Gyan Prakash Ghosh Memorial Award, Meghmallar 2000. 9. West Bengal State Music Academy Champion Award in 2007. And, many more.... THREE solo albums released, named 1."Spirituoso: Western Classical Revisited" 2."Divine Romance". (Traditional Classical Sitar) 3. Shades of Ragas : An essence of 78 rpm records. (A collection of 16 ragas of 4 mins each) 1st one was inaugurated by Ustad Zakir Hussain. Some other albums: "Transformations" with Pt.Buddhadev Dasgupta, Haimanti Shukla, and few more renowned artistes. "Ensemble" with Ustad Rashid Khan, Pt.Subhankar Banerjee and other eminent artists from USA and UK. Also, I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to perform with some Great Legends like Smt Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Ghulam Ali (Ghazal King), Pandit Birju Maharaj ji, Kaushiki Chakraborty and some more. My research dissertation paper on "LUDWIG Van BEETHOVEN: Life Sketch and Music Appreciation" and an Article in an International Cultural Journal on "Evolution of Sitar" was hugely appreciated and blessed by the connoisseurs and senior experts.
