“My experience as a science teacher has taught me that science isn’t in textbooks — it’s in every ‘why’ a child asks. Teaching Class 10 Chemistry, I’ve seen students transform from ‘I hate reactions’ to ‘Ma’am, can we test this at home?’ I blend lab demos with board prep because a student who see the change of color of litmus solution with acids and alkali will never forget it. Beyond syllabus, I focus on scientific temperament: questioning, evidence, no shortcuts. Managing a class of 40 curious teenagers needs patience. But when a student messages after boards saying ‘I want to take Chemistry in 11th because of your class’, that’s the experience I count most.”
