I am passionate about teaching English and helping students develop strong language and communication skills. I teach English to Class 9 students and focus on improving grammar, reading comprehension, writing skills, vocabulary, and overall confidence in using the language. Although I have one year of formal teaching experience, I believe in creating a learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and express themselves confidently.

I am a postgraduate in English Literature, which has given me a strong foundation in language, literature, grammar, and effective communication. My academic journey has deepened my appreciation for literature and strengthened my ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner. I aim to help students not only perform well in examinations but also develop a genuine interest in reading, writing, and language learning.

Before stepping into teaching, I worked as a Content Development Editor at BPB Publications, where I was involved in developing and editing educational content. This experience sharpened my skills in research, writing, editing, and critical analysis while giving me valuable insights into creating clear, accurate, and engaging learning material. My professional background enables me to present concepts in a structured and student-friendly manner.

My academic interests extend to literary theory, feminist studies, and cultural criticism. I have contributed articles to various platforms and have had the opportunity to work with *Frontline* (The Hindu Group) and the Forum for Integrated National Security (FINS). These experiences have broadened my perspective, strengthened my analytical thinking, and enriched my ability to connect classroom learning with broader social, cultural, and literary contexts, making my lessons more meaningful and engaging for students.

My teaching methodology is structured, interactive, and focused on conceptual understanding. Every class is carefully planned with clear learning objectives, interactive discussions, practical examples, and regular practice exercises. I encourage students to actively participate, improve their language proficiency through consistent reading and writing, and develop the confidence to communicate effectively in English. During my online classes, I use PowerPoint presentations and digital whiteboards to make lessons more engaging and visually interactive.

Teaching is a rewarding journey that allows me to inspire curiosity and foster a love for language and literature. I am committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel motivated to learn, think independently, and achieve their academic goals.
