Saloni Academy

I teach Kathak dance and have been passionately sharing this classical art form for the past six years through my academy, Nrityashree Kathak Academy. I started by offering online classes and gradually expanded to include offline sessions, allowing students to learn Kathak in a structured and immersive environment.

My primary goal is to preserve and promote Kathak, helping students of all ages not only learn the dance form but also develop a deep appreciation for its history, rhythm, and expressions. I believe in fostering talent while creating an inspiring and supportive learning atmosphere.

Our academy has a team of two skilled trainers, each with 8 to 9 years of Kathak experience. Together, we design classes that combine traditional techniques with interactive and practical teaching methods, ensuring students gain both technical proficiency and artistic expression.

I hold several qualifications in Kathak, including a NIPUN degree from Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh, a certification from Bhatkhande University, Lucknow, and a Master of Performing Arts (MPA) in Kathak from Rajasthan University. These credentials allow me to teach Kathak with a balance of tradition, technique, and creative expression.

Over the years, I have conducted classes in small batches of 3 to 4 students, which enables personalized attention and ensures that every student receives detailed guidance. Many students have progressed under my training, performing confidently and embracing Kathak with enthusiasm.

Our academy also provides certification upon course completion. Students undergo an exam, and after successful completion, they receive a marksheet and certification from Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh University, validating their skills and progress in Kathak dance.

Both online and offline classes are conducted with a focus on structured, interactive, and enjoyable learning. I strive to make each session engaging while emphasizing the fundamentals, rhythm, and expressions of Kathak, ensuring that students not only learn but also fall in love with this beautiful art form.
