Ion:- ion is a charged form of atom Or molecules. They are different types such as positive ion and negative ion.
Positive ion:- positive ion makes after the loosing of electrons. And they get a positive charge, i.e. Fe loose of two electrons than comes in fe+2 form.
Negative ion:- negative ion makes after the gain of electrons. And they get negetive charge.
ie. Fluorine gain of one electron than comes in F-1 form.
