First of all you need to be fluent while having an conversation with the students parents then always remember parents will always listen to what there child says so you need to make them understand every topic clearly .
First of all if you are not able to convert then the first and formost step is to take a demo class
Take a demo class and if the child loves your teaching then definitely they will convert .
Do not wait for there reply for too long give them a ultimatum to reply whether they would like to continue with you or not .
Because see what happens is they think that you are free and they can reply when ever they want to and they will try to search for better options other than you so don't give them time to seek other options
That's all what you can do and don't lag behind one enquiry if they do not convert try other people don't force someone to continue with you that makes them feel irritated.
