Ashish Tiwari

I am a research-oriented life sciences professional with strong expertise in molecular biology, nanotechnology, and toxicology, currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Rajasthan. My research focuses on the toxicological evaluation of titanium and zinc oxide nanoparticles and their amelioration using nanocurcumin in Wistar rats, integrating both mechanistic and therapeutic perspectives.

I hold a Gold Medal in M.Sc. (Zoology, Cell & Molecular Biology) with a university top rank (97.5%), and I am a recipient of the DST-INSPIRE Fellowship, with qualifications including GATE (IIT Guwahati) and Rajasthan SET (2023). My research experience spans prestigious institutions including the University of Delhi and Jawaharlal Nehru University, where I worked on epigenetic regulation in stem cells.

Technically, I possess hands-on expertise in molecular and genetic techniques (PCR, cDNA synthesis, RNA isolation), nanoparticle synthesis (polymeric nanoparticles and carbon quantum dots), spectroscopic characterization (UV-Vis, FTIR, XRD), and biochemical assays. I am also trained in animal handling, cell culture, and toxicological assessments, supported by certified CPCSEA training.

I have contributed to peer-reviewed publications, a patent, and international conferences, with recognition through best poster and young scientist awards. My research interests lie at the intersection of nanomedicine, oxidative stress biology, and translational toxicology, with a goal to develop innovative, safer therapeutic strategies using nanomaterials.
