First of all by reading that specific concept from an standard book. By practicing tons of questions on that concept. Make mistakes in those questions, it's okay but learn the mistake and concept involved in that correctly & don't ever repeat that mistake.
Making Mind-Maps is a great add-on. Visualise teaching those concept to another person. If you can do that, you're clear on that concept. And this whole process be honest to yourself.
