If you know mobile app development, you are most likely to get paid than someone who only knows iOS or Android. In other words if you can work with both platforms and have an in-depth understanding of the mobile technologies and how they work, you can ask for a significantly higher pay. But it doesn't necessarily means that you have to become an expert on both, having expertise on one stack and can manage with the other will give you a significant advantage over someone only knows one thing. Also, if you have a deep down knowledge in a particular domain, say game programming, high secured banking apps ...etc, then you can increase your pay even more. Not to mention leadership skills, communication skills and people and some project management skills will add more to it. read less
