The experience that particular teacher has. Teaching methodology, singing level of the tutor and the ability to convey things well. Indian classical music should be taught in an interactive manner, as the amount of content is huge and grasping the same is a challenge if the tutor is not so good

But choice is yours to change to another Gharana- with a bit more effort. More than Popular name of Guru, choose sincere trainer/teacher & stick for at least 1 year to check , if you can do well. read less

Hello Ishaan...I think you are having problem because there are jumping notes. Re and Pa are not used in this Raaga so, take the SapaT as you take simple ChhuT Taans. And try to keep the Daanas even. You will improve I'm sure. Best of luck!
