Reading is the best way to learn more vocabulary; however, a more natural way out is to watch movies without subtitles which diverts the attention of listening and learning to read while watching. Fluency can only be improved by speaking regularly. In case of lack of someone to practice speaking with try reading aloud, it helps improve pronunciation and retains a good idea of improvement.
