My strength has always been my English. I was born in the UK and spent the first 18 years of my life there, so I naturally built an aptitude for English, even before my mother tongue, Kannada. Though I completed my MBA degree in Australia in 2003, helping students to achieve their aspirations motivated me to get into training. I initially helped students to improve their fluency in English when I worked at Akshara Academy that had an English division. I did that for more than 6 years from 2004 to 2010 with the goal of improving English fluency, especially for those who were struggling to get through all the rounds of job interviews. At Canam, over the 4 year period, I taught almost 500 students and most of them were able to achieve the desired band score on their first attempt of the IELTS exam.
