When you learn a new word check where you can use and start talking to people in English and use the word which you acquire, put a target of learning new name every day and use it appropriately.
Then start reading newspapers like Hindu, Times of India no DC, please. Once you are perfect in this, then start watching the news on TV and slowly switch to movies.
