How to improve communication skills?

To improve one's communication in any foreign language, the technique recommended: Listen, Speak, Rear & Write (LSRW), however, mostly we go the other way around; hence our writing ability over powers the speaking. Watch out for First Language Influence (FLI), while you converse in foreign language.... ...more
To improve one's communication in any foreign language, the technique recommended: Listen, Speak, Rear & Write (LSRW), however, mostly we go the other way around; hence our writing ability over powers the speaking. Watch out for First Language Influence (FLI), while you converse in foreign language. Eg: Think in English and you will observe the grammatical errors reduce. Habits to inculcate: Listen (knowledge acquisition), Speak (breakthrough monotony, strike conversation with different folks from all walks of life), Video & Audio record and self evaluate.
