I am Shobha Vasan, a dedicated educator with 5 years of teaching experience in guiding students toward academic excellence. I specialize in teaching Mathematics and Science for Class 10 students, and Economics for Classes 11 and 12. My primary focus is on helping students develop strong conceptual clarity, improve their problem-solving abilities, and perform confidently in board examinations as well as academic assessments.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree, which have provided me with a strong academic foundation in my subject areas, especially Economics. My educational background has helped me develop a deep understanding of theoretical concepts and analytical thinking, enabling me to explain topics in a simple, structured, and student-friendly manner. Although I have not pursued formal teaching certifications, my practical classroom experience over the years has significantly strengthened my teaching abilities.

Over the course of my teaching journey, I have worked closely with students preparing for board examinations and academic evaluations. I understand the challenges students face, particularly when dealing with concept-heavy subjects such as Economics, Mathematics, and Science. My approach focuses on breaking down complex topics into simpler components so that students can understand them easily and retain the knowledge effectively.

My experience also includes guiding students through exam preparation strategies, doubt-solving sessions, and regular academic improvement plans. I have appeared for competitive entrance examinations such as UOH, JNU, and Central University entrance exams, which has given me valuable insights into effective preparation techniques, time management, and exam-oriented learning strategies. I incorporate these insights into my teaching to help students perform better in their academic journey.

One of my notable achievements is securing the position of CBSE State Topper in 2018. This accomplishment reflects my strong academic foundation and commitment to excellence. It has also motivated me to maintain high standards in teaching and to encourage my students to aim for similar levels of success through discipline, consistency, and focused preparation.

My teaching methodology is flexible and student-centered, designed according to the individual learning needs of each student. I begin by assessing the student’s current level of understanding and then design a structured lesson plan accordingly. I ensure that every session has a clear objective, starting from concept explanation and followed by guided practice, problem-solving, and doubt clarification.

I conduct both online and offline classes and use PPT presentations and whiteboards to make learning more engaging and effective. My classes are highly interactive, encouraging students to ask questions and actively participate in discussions. I combine theoretical explanations with real-life examples, especially in Economics, to make learning more relatable and interesting. Through consistent practice, revision sessions, and personalized attention, I aim to build strong conceptual clarity, boost student confidence, and help them achieve excellent academic results.
