Hi! I’m Saptarnab Ganguly, and I teach Science to students from classes 5 to 8. With over 3 years of teaching experience, I strive to make science fun, easy to understand, and deeply relatable for young minds.
I hold a BSc in Microbiology, an MSc in Life Sciences, and I am currently pursuing my PhD. My academic background gives me a solid foundation in the subject, and I love breaking down complex concepts into digestible ideas for my students.
One of my proudest academic achievements was securing All India Rank 45 in the JAM Entrance Test, which is a national-level competitive exam. This accomplishment motivates me to help my students aim higher and understand the value of clarity and consistency in studies.
I enjoy teaching online classes, and I mostly follow a structured lesson plan. However, I also adapt depending on the student's learning pace and interest. Wherever possible, I give simple practical demonstrations or use real-life examples that connect science to their everyday activities.
Rather than relying on textbook definitions alone, I believe in teaching through real-life relatable examples. I find that students understand better when they can link a concept to something they already do or observe. This makes science not just informative but enjoyable.
In my classes, I usually use a whiteboard or explain verbally to ensure better communication. The emphasis is always on making students think, ask questions, and engage with the subject beyond memorizing facts.
I also provide handwritten notes and encourage students to write things down during class. This not only reinforces their understanding but also helps them retain concepts for longer.
