There are 3 types of GST in India. That is CGST, IGST, IGST.
In Intrastate transation CGST and IGST are levied on the supply
In Interstate transaction IGST is levied on the supply
Suppose the rate of gst on supply of a good is 18%.
If it's an intrastate transaction 9% CGST and 9% SGST will be levied.
If it's an interstate transaction 18% IGST will be levied.
