"What is the plural for the word "Person", Persons or People?" in   Spoken English classes

The plural of ‘person’ is ‘persons’, whereas a group of persons can be called people. People is a plural term and is generally used broadly to convey a very large section of society, for example, these phrases convey what I exactly mean... ‘people of our country’, or ‘there were a lot of people in the railway station’.

""Touch Wood" in UK or "Knock On Wood" in US. They are mentioned in order to avoid bad luck while talking about a person's fortunes, prosperity etc: Does one have to really "Touch Wood" (or "Knock On Wood) or just say it? Thanks in advance, Superstitiously Yours................................" in   Spoken English classes

It’s a medieval superstition that has gathered strength over the years among those who are prone to being superstitious. Today, some superstitious people just utter the phrase without touching wood but others actually touch wood to feel more secure.
