Does not matter how many students are there in the class, the amount of personal attention given keeps a beginner like me motivated to learn, practice, and improve. Most people may want to learn music but they feel shy to join a class as they think their voice does not sound good enough (at-least that's what I use to feel). But believe me, once a person enters this class, the mere attention and way of teaching makes the person feel comfortable and the insecurities just vanish.
