It is suitable for that price. The keys make noise when the volume is very low. It has semi-weighted keys. They are a little hard to press, but it will benefit the beginner to practice and make fingers accessible. The original piano keys have hammer action, but this digital piano has weighted action.
This is like learning to type on a manual typewriter, and then when you type on a computer keyboard, your speed will substantially increase.
So, if you want your fingers to be flexible and free for good piano playing, Artesia PE 88 is the best choice for the price range.
