I, Janardan Dandu, have over seven years of experience (2018–2025) in teaching, mentoring, answer evaluation, and content development for aspirants preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE). During my association with Sri Shankara IAS Academy, I have guided students at various stages of preparation, including Prelims, Mains, Essay, Ethics, and Interview preparation. My teaching responsibilities have included conducting classroom sessions, online mentoring, doubt-clearing sessions, and personalized guidance programs. I have mentored students in General Studies Papers I, II, III, and IV, covering subjects such as Indian Polity and Governance, Social Issues, International Relations, Economy, Internal Security, Environment, and Ethics. My approach emphasizes conceptual clarity, analytical thinking, and the integration of current affairs with the static syllabus. A major area of my work has been UPSC Mains Answer Writing Mentorship and Evaluation. I have evaluated numerous answer scripts and provided detailed feedback on content quality, structure, presentation, introduction and conclusion writing, use of examples, constitutional provisions, government reports, and current affairs integration. Through continuous assessment and individualized feedback, I have helped aspirants improve their writing skills and examination performance. I have also specialized in Essay and Ethics preparation. In Essay mentoring, I train students in brainstorming, theme identification, multidimensional analysis, logical flow, and effective conclusion writing. For Ethics (GS Paper IV), I guide aspirants in understanding ethical concepts, emotional intelligence, integrity, aptitude, stakeholder analysis, and case-study solving techniques relevant to public administration. In addition, I have developed study materials, model answers, issue-based notes, current affairs compilations, ethics case-study resources, and revision frameworks aligned with UPSC requirements. I regularly conduct workshops on answer writing, note-making methods, current affairs analysis, and examination strategy. My teaching methodology is student-centric and outcome-oriented, focusing on conceptual understanding, structured learning, regular practice, and personalized mentoring. I assist students in designing study plans, revision schedules, and test-taking strategies suited to their individual needs. Through consistent guidance, academic support, and performance monitoring, I strive to help aspirants develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to succeed in the UPSC Civil Services Examination.
