With 23 years of dedicated experience in mathematics education, spanning across various academic levels and specialized subjects, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my students. Holding a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Education (BEd) qualification, I am equipped with both subject matter expertise and effective pedagogical skills.
My teaching journey commenced at Narayana Institute, where I spent 15 years imparting mathematics education to students preparing for their 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade examinations. Subsequently, I transitioned to Seventh Day Adventist High School, where I continued to nurture young minds for seven years. My commitment to excellence in education has been recognized through accolades such as the Best Teacher Award and being honored as a gold medalist in MSc Mathematics.
Currently, I am engaged as a part-time teacher on UrbanPro, where I continue to share my passion for mathematics with eager learners. My teaching methodology is characterized by conceptual clarity and exemplary instruction, aimed at fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts among my students.
I offer a range of teaching formats to cater to different learning preferences and needs. Whether it's one-on-one sessions, group classes with up to five students, or online instruction, I ensure that each session lasts for one and a half hours, providing ample time for comprehensive learning and interaction.
During online sessions, I utilize tools such as Zoom and virtual whiteboards to facilitate interactive teaching. This enables students to engage with the material, ask questions, and collaborate with their peers in real-time. Additionally, I provide assignments to reinforce learning and assess understanding, ensuring that students are well-prepared for their examinations and academic challenges.
