My name is Durishetty Priyanka Sarkar, and I am an experienced educator with over 13 years of professional teaching experience in reputed schools and corporate educational institutions. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with secondary and higher-secondary students and have also served in academic leadership positions as a Head of the Chemistry Department (HOD) and School Coordinator.

My primary area of expertise is Chemistry, with strong academic and teaching proficiency in Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and Physical Chemistry. I teach students from Grades 9 to 12, covering different national and international curricula, including CBSE, ICSE/ISC, State Board and international board syllabi. I am comfortable adapting my teaching methodology according to the curriculum, academic level and learning requirements of individual students.

In addition to theoretical Chemistry, I have extensive experience in conducting and guiding Chemistry practical and laboratory sessions. I focus on helping students understand the scientific principles behind experiments, laboratory procedures, observations, chemical reactions, calculations, safety practices and practical examinations rather than simply memorising procedures.

My teaching methodology is strongly focused on conceptual clarity and application-based learning. I simplify difficult topics such as organic reaction mechanisms, chemical bonding, periodic properties, equilibrium, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, coordination chemistry, hydrocarbons and other advanced Chemistry concepts into structured and easy-to-understand explanations. I also provide regular practice through numerical problems, reaction-based questions, worksheets, chapter-wise assessments, previous examination questions and revision sessions.

Apart from Chemistry, I have experience teaching Physics for Grades 7–10, Biology for senior-school students, and English for higher-secondary classes. My multidisciplinary academic background enables me to support students across different areas of Science and English while maintaining Chemistry as my principal subject of specialisation.

Academically, I hold an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, along with an M.Ed. in Education, M.A. in Literature, and M.A. in English. This combination of subject expertise and professional education has helped me develop effective teaching methodologies suited to students with different learning abilities and academic backgrounds.

Over the years, I have worked not only as a classroom teacher but also in positions involving academic planning, curriculum implementation, student mentoring, teacher coordination, assessment preparation and academic administration. My experience as Chemistry HOD and School Coordinator has given me a broader understanding of curriculum standards, examination requirements and effective academic management.

As an online tutor, my objective is to provide personalised and interactive learning rather than conventional one-way teaching. I assess each student's current understanding, identify conceptual gaps and develop a structured learning plan according to their grade, board, examination requirements and academic goals. I focus on building strong fundamentals first and then progressively prepare students for school examinations, board examinations and higher-level Chemistry problem solving.

I believe that students perform best when they truly understand a subject rather than memorising it. My aim is therefore to make Chemistry logical, interesting and approachable, while helping every student gain confidence, improve academic performance and develop a strong foundation for higher studies.
