I am an extremely passionate teacher with 20 plus years of teaching experience. I am a Gold Medallist, educator, and an independent researcher, who is a Ph.D. holder from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. I have also completed my B.Ed. recently, passing the course in November 2025.

I am giving online tuitions at the moment. I have experience teaching English Language and Literature to students from various backgrounds--under-graduation, post-graduation, and classes 6-10 ICSE syllabus.

My key skills are teaching LSRW skills, grammar and punctuation of and in English, essay and letter writing, reading comprehension with precis, and texts like Shakespeare, Milton, Golding, Oscar Wilde, poetry, prose, theatre, etc. in English Literature. I am well versed with modern texts (both in word and moving images) in Literature, including texts from various nations across the globe as well as genre specific texts. My larger areas of interests include African American Literature, Postcolonial Literatures and Theory, Popular Culture, Identity Politics, Gender Studies, Film Studies, and more.
