Integral of log x DX by using the formula for integration by parts. We take u(X)= log x and v(X) = X then v'(X)=1.
Hence lintegral of log x dx = integral of u(X).v'(X) dx = u(X).v(X) - integral u'(X).v(X)dx.
Then this is =x.log x- integral x.d/dx (log x) dx this is = X log x - integral of X. 1/X dx. This is equal to x.log X - X +c.
