With fifteen years of experience and an MSc in Chemistry, I began teaching as a hobby. Over the past fifteen years, I have worked as an individual tutor, specialising in teaching chemistry to students in grades ninth and tenth and preparing students for the IIT JEE Main and Advanced exams. I also have extensive experience teaching chemistry to students in the eleventh and twelfth grades.
My teaching methods primarily revolve around online platforms, allowing me to reach a wider audience. Conducting one-hour to one-and-a-half-hour classes, I ensure that the sessions are application-oriented, emphasising practical aspects of chemistry. These interactive live classes create an engaging learning environment for students.
I provide running notes and materials during the classes to facilitate effective learning. The notes and materials are carefully curated, ensuring they align with the curriculum and comprehensively cover essential topics. I have honed my ability to explain complex chemical concepts in a simplified manner. I strive to foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere in my classes, motivating students to participate and ask questions actively. I empower my students to tackle challenging chemistry problems confidently by encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
As an individual tutor, I understand the unique learning needs of each student. I adapt my teaching style to cater to their strengths and weaknesses, providing personalised attention to help them overcome any obstacles they may face. I believe in creating a solid foundation in chemistry, equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in their academic pursuits.
