Hey! I’m Akhila Garlapati, a passionate Western dance trainer with over 10 years of experience. I teach various styles including Funk, Jazz, Bollywood, Contemporary, and Freestyle, and I’ve trained students from beginners to advanced performers.

Interestingly, I’m also an Aerospace Engineer, but dance has always been my heartbeat. Over the years, I’ve successfully balanced both worlds, bringing creativity and discipline into every dance session I lead.

I’ve had the honour of performing at several national and international shows, and some of my most memorable achievements include being a National Award winner and making it to the Guinness Book of World Records, Limca Book of Records, Wonder Book of Records, and Unique World Records.

I currently conduct offline individual classes, usually by visiting the student’s location, making it more personal and comfortable for them. I work with all age groups and customize my sessions based on their comfort, goal, and skill level.

Some of my students have gone on to achieve incredible milestones—after learning under me, they’ve entered the India Book of Records and the Telugu Book of Records. These achievements fill me with pride and drive me to push my students to greater heights.

If a student continues to train with me for at least two years, I’m open to helping them get certification. But my main focus is on making sure every dancer understands rhythm, body movement, and expressive storytelling through dance.
