Even I will be pursuing an executive MBA next year as I have been working for three years now. I would suggest you check the syllabus first and also some sample CAT papers. It would help you decide where do you stand exactly. Some people take 3-4months for the prep, others might take a year or so. So it depends on your calibre. Please decide accordingly.
