Shivakantkumar Adhikari

I am a Research Associate and Teaching Assistant (Full Time for PG Studies) in Department of Studies and Research in Microbiology and Biotechnology at Jnanasiri Campus Tumkur University, Bidarakatte, Tumakuru. I have completed my Ph.D. in Microbiology at Karnatak University, Dharwad. I am looking forward to having such responsibilities in order to make strong implementations in college.
During the course of my Ph.D. work, I have wide research experience working with Microbes, field crops pathogens, monitoring for their disease progression and teaching experience. I have taken laboratory practicals for M.Sc. students where I was engaged handling microbes, media preparation, Microbial cultures, Staining techniques, Animal Biotechnology, Medical Microbiology, Agricultural Microbiology, Plant Biotechnology, Environmental Microbiology, Molecular Forensics, Molecular biology and r-DNA technology subjects. Eight years of research (Including Ph.D.) and three years teaching in this field has presented numerous challenges and pushed me to gain extensive knowledge in the research field.
