I have two degrees in M.A, - the 1st one in Comparative Literature, received from Jadavpur University and the 2nd degree is in English and Comparative Studies, from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, USA.
I have taught undergraduate students in New York, USA and have taught English to students of ISC and Cambridge AS Level (Classes 11 and 12) for 14 years in 2 renowned schools in Hyderabad, I have been the Head of the English Department in Gitanjali School, considered among the best 25 day schools in India, from 2007-2018.
I shifted to Howrah in July 2018 and am now looking forward to teaching students of ISC preferably.
In Hyderabad, the English ISC results of Gitanjali School were the best in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, with the minimum being 70%. My essay on Teachers as Leaders received an award for being the 4th best essay, in an All-India Essay writing competition.
I have served as Team Leader in the evaluation of ISC English I (Language) papers till 2017.
