Sharanya Narayani International School

Sharanya Narayani International School (SNIS) is a K- 12 day and boarding (weekly & regular) school promoted and managed by a non-profit public charitable Trust – Narayani Group of Educational Institutions. Both the School and the Trust are named after Late Mrs. Narayani Abbaiah Reddy, the family matriarch of the Trustees.

SNIS offers internationally bench-marked academic programmes. An international programme is offered for Primary Years (Nursery – Grade V) and IGCSE is offered for Middle and High School (Grades VI – X).

The programmes offered at SNIS focus on high academic standards providing a holistic education that requires students to be open-minded, socially responsible, willing to take risks and be critical thinkers. Through our academic programmes, our students will gain an understanding of the connections between all subjects and enable them to solve complex problems using multiple approaches.

SNIS uses techniques of teaching (pedagogy) that promote self-learning through a multi-skill, learner-centered, and activity based approach. As a Thinking School, we help our students to explore concepts, ideas, and issues that are of local and global significance. Our teachers emphasize research and encourage students to learn from their peers, with students actively critiquing one another’s work. The emphasis is on how to learn rather than what to learn. Education at SNIS makes students independent learners with the ability to express themselves confidently and creatively.
