There is no typical age limit of learning. But yes, i agree with some of the people here that learning at a tender age helps in moulding the voice the way one wants it to. But to become a professional singer, it requires a sheer amount of time. One can be a professional singer only when he/she is confidant & have achieved excellence with his/ her knowledge & grip over the subject to be performed. And that expertise & Knowledge is achieved only through constant learning & practice. So one should give it the required time it needs. However it is completely my opinion, others might differ!
