How do we define Marg Sangeet?

Marga Sangeetis the use of music to find path tomoksha.Earlier the only sangeet was marga sangeet to reach god. That had rules that couldn't be changed.. No one was allowed to make improvisations. Marg sangeet is the sangeet, which helps us to get divine blessings. In today's context, the form of Marg sangeet which is preserved till today is in West Bengal the Vaishnavs under Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu sing uniquely with particular rhythms (tabla not used but mridanga or special dholak is used).
