It is a truly enriching and rewarding journey for me. As a teacher, I have always believed that chemistry is not just a subject of formulas, equations, and reactions, but a way to understand the world around us. Every day in the classroom, I get the opportunity to spark curiosity in my students by connecting concepts of chemistry with their daily lives. While teaching topics like atomic structure, chemical bonding, or organic chemistry, I try to simplify complex ideas through real-life examples, demonstrations, and experiments. Practical work in the laboratory has been one of the most exciting parts of teaching, as it allows students to see theories come alive in front of their eyes. Their enthusiasm during experiments motivates me to explore creative methods of making lessons more interactive. At times, I face challenges in keeping all students equally engaged, as some find chemistry difficult. However, I have learned to use different teaching strategies—like visual aids, group discussions, and problem-solving exercises—to make concepts easier and more enjoyable. Watching students overcome their fear of the subject and develop confidence in solving numerical and conceptual problems has been one of my most fulfilling experiences. Overall, teaching chemistry has not only enhanced my knowledge but also strengthened my patience, creativity, and communication skills. It gives me immense satisfaction to see my students develop scientific thinking, curiosity, and a love for learning. For me, every class is an opportunity to inspire young minds and contribute to building their future.
