Not At All . To be Hadoop Developer , you need the knowledge of basic core Java programming along with SQL . No one will ask any question in interview on hibernate .

No. Hibernate and Object-Relational Mapping are used for OLTP (“transactional”) apps on a Relational Database. Hibernate is not used as an interface to Hadoop, at all. While Hadoop developers may need to work with a relational database for analytics work, this is best done with direct SQL queries....

While Hadoop developers may need to work with a relational database for analytics work, this is best done with direct SQL queries.
