The House System
For the development of overall students and in order to provide fair participation the school is divided in to four Houses:

Tagore House
These Houses with their respective teacher's organize the discipline, assemblies and competitions of the school.

Transport
Transport of children will be the responsibility of individual parents. The school provides transport on fixed routs.

Holidays and Counseling
The school functions for children from Monday to Saturday. It remains closed on every second and fourth Saturday of the month and other holiday as declared by the school. However the school is open on the fourth Saturday of the month when the Teachers and the Administrative staff are available between 9 AM to 12 Noon for any query or consultation. Students can be called on any holiday also, on prior information, if the academic or extra activities are so scheduled.

Admission Details:

Admission is open for classes Nursery to XI at Gyan Deep Gurgaon for the academic session 2012-13. Admission forms along with the prospectus are available at Administrative Office on all weekdays between 9.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M. No direct admissions in class X. We at Gyan Deep aim at producing students who not only excel at academics but who will also be imbued with social and ethical values, skills and attitudes to contribute positively to society. Therefore, the admission process is designed to test both aptitude and attitude. While the tests assess proficiency in English, Mathematics and Hindi, they also reveal the child’s problem-solving skills. Portions integrated in the admission process will also examine the applicant’s belief and value system on the basis of which he/she makes decisions and the way he/she handles and negotiates the external world. We believe that this method of testing the student will allow us to look at him/her holistically.
