Johnson Raj Tirkey

My name is Johnson Raj Tirkey and am currently a BA. LLB. (Hons.) Candidate with a specialisation in Intellectual Property Rights, and I bring strong reading, writing, and communication skills to my tutoring. My foundation for English developed early at a boarding called Goethal’s Memorial School in Kurseong- Darjeeling, an ICSE Christian boarding school where English was spoken 24/7, shaped further by Anglo-Indian influences.

I stay sharp through active daily conversations with friends internationally largely in the UK on online platforms and am also an avid watcher of English films. Alongside this, my academic and professional work, including drafting legal documents, has strengthened my grasp of grammar, structure, and clear expression.

I offer well-rounded English tutoring covering reading comprehension, writing, and spoken communication, tailored to each student’s pace and level. While my formal tutoring experience is still growing, I’ve informally helped friends and family with their English over the years, and I’m passionate about building strong language foundations in school-age students.
