I reiterate: There are limitations to Macros. VBA is useful in overcoming those limitations. The learning curve is much steeper and easier than the costs of making sure that computations are done on identical ranges in corresponding sheets and inter sheet computations, which can unnecessarily elaborate and lengthen the ordeal (the complexity builds up quickly). Ie. Unless this is warranted by statute eg. Mandatory Book of accounts might be used with Macro alone. But Projections and calculations, which often require numerical methods, Ratio Analysis etc is better achieved inserting VBA into Macro code.
