I have been teaching kids from nursery to 6th. I know that every kid if different in their own unique way, hence I focus primarily on understanding the kid first and then deciding the appropriate way of teaching them. I have a younger sister who is in class 7th, so I know how kids can be. I don't believe in pilling them up with homework or being extra strict with them. I believe that we need to be strict only when needed.
I do fun activities to make subjects easier and more understandable for kids. I feel it is highly essential to make them feel that it isn't difficult but fun and easy to learn. That is what I follow in class!

Why are primary school teachers mostly women?

I would say, because primary kids are young and have a certain level of curiousness and naughtiness in them, which needs to be dealt with patience. I do not want to sound feminist, but we all are aware that women are better at handling children at such a tender age.

I would say DPS is one school that you would find across all cities of India. It is highly reputed in some cities, while not so much in the others.

What is the best way to drive away the fear of spoken English?

Well, you can overcome your fears by facing them. So the best way would be to speak in english with someone you are comfortable with, who can help you with it without judging you and correct you when you are wrong. That will give an immense boost to your confidence.
