With a personal background of clearing competitive exams such as UPSC CDS, AFCAT, and SSC Prelims, I have gained a strong command over the General Studies (GS) syllabus required for various government exams. Over the past year, I have worked as a GS faculty, teaching and mentoring SSC aspirants in subjects like History, Polity, Geography, Economics, General Science, and Current Affairs. Drawing from my own preparation journey, I have developed my teaching methodology to be structured, exam-focused, and easy to follow. I emphasize conceptual clarity, linking topics across subjects to help students develop a comprehensive understanding. For example, while teaching Geography, I often integrate current events or economic implications to help students think analytically, as required in exams. My classes are a mix of theory explanation, previous (PYQ) analysis, and practice sessions. I also conduct daily quizzes and weekly mock tests, which not only reinforce learning but also improve students’ speed and accuracy. Having personally navigated the challenges of competitive exams, I regularly conduct strategy sessions on time management, smart revision, and eliminating options during MCQs, which were extremely beneficial for many students. In both online and offline settings, I make use of visual aids like maps, charts, and diagrams, along with customized notes to cater to varied learning styles. I actively share curated study material, daily current affairs, and short revision capsules through digital platforms to help students stay consistent with their preparation. Over the year, I have mentored students from diverse educational backgrounds, including working professionals and first-time aspirants. I consistently motivated them by sharing my own exam journey—how consistent effort, discipline, and a strategic approach helped me clear multiple exams. This helped create a connection and trust with my students, which translated into improved performance and confidence. My year of teaching experience has not only strengthened my subject expertise but also refined my skills in communication, mentorship, and classroom management. It has been extremely rewarding to see students gain clarity, improve scores, and become more confident in their preparation journey. I aim to continue using my personal success and teaching experience to help more aspirants navigate the competitive exam landscape with the right strategy and mindset.

I have cleared the CDS exam five times and attended an SSB interview as well. I prepared for civil services exams for 3 years. With my knowledge and experience, I'm teaching students how to approach and clear the exam with a reasonable fee and guidance so they can achieve what they desire. Exams are getting tougher day by day. Exam patterns are changing with time, so you have to improve your preparation. I have cleared these exams by self-study, and that's what I want my students to have in them so they can do it. Instead of losing confidence from failure, let's face the exam with better preparation.
