Hi,
The reason I teach is because I love teaching, and am extremely passionate about helping people learn. I strongly believe that learning is the most important part of a lesson. Marks are secondary for me. I don't teach just so that a student can score. However, with my teaching methods, a student is bound to do well in exams.
I don't have a particular style of teaching. Every student is different, and I know that in order to deliver the material well, a teacher needs to adapt to the student's needs. I know everyone is unique, and so, my approach is thereby different with different people.
My goal is to make the student understand and love the subject that I am teaching, so that it no longer feels like work for the student and so that she/he enjoys the material I am giving her/him, no matter how boring the work is to the rest of the world.
Am I a good teacher or not? That's not for me to say. It's for the student to tell me, as it is ultimately for the student.
