Hanumanth Pennaboina

I am a qualified and experienced Physical Education Teacher with B.Sc (BZC), B.P.Ed, M.P.Ed, PG Diploma in Yoga, and NIS (C) Basketball qualifications. I have extensive experience in school Physical Education, working with students across different age groups and developing their physical fitness, motor skills, coordination, discipline, teamwork, and overall well-being.

I currently work as a Head of the Physical Education/Sports Department in an international school, where I am involved in PE curriculum planning, lesson planning, student assessment, fitness development, sports activities, department management, and implementation of age-appropriate physical education programs.

My teaching approach combines theory and practical Physical Education, ensuring that students understand the importance of fitness, health, sportsmanship, safety, teamwork, and an active lifestyle. I design structured lessons according to students’ age, ability, and learning needs.

I also have experience preparing students for CBSE sports competitions and physical fitness assessments, while maintaining a strong focus on participation and holistic development rather than only competitive performance.

My key areas include Physical Education, fitness and wellness, athletics, basketball, football, yoga, basic sports science, motor skill development, physical fitness testing, and student assessment.

I believe Physical Education is an important part of holistic school education and my goal is to help students develop physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally through meaningful and enjoyable physical activity.
