One can start learning guitar at any age after 5. But atleast 10 or above would be recommended as the the kid of this age will be able to understand some of the things more quickly then compared to 5-7

With Regular practice and a Good instructor, in 2 Months time, you can start playing guitar pretty well !!! Its a bit difficult and tiresome. But, Do not give up !
