Always stick to the timing! Practice the strumming pattern very slowly and then make it fast

It's impossible. If you are fully dedicated even then it will take probably 3-5 months to clear your basics. You have to give minimum 6 months if you want to clear you basic stuff and minimum 1 year if want to play decently.
