Teaching Experience in detail in Class 8 Tuition

During my teaching experience at KSC Boys Higher Secondary School, Tiruppur, I taught Science to students from Classes 6 to 10 following the Tamil Nadu State Board curriculum. My responsibilities included planning and delivering structured lessons based on the prescribed syllabus, learning objectives, and students’ academic levels. I focused on making scientific concepts clear and interesting by using real-life examples, demonstrations, questioning techniques, classroom discussions, and activity-based learning. I prepared daily and weekly lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, and formative assessments to monitor students’ understanding and academic progress. I regularly evaluated students’ performance and provided individual guidance and additional support to students who required improvement. I encouraged students to actively participate in classroom activities, ask questions, and develop conceptual understanding rather than relying solely on memorization. I maintained effective classroom management by establishing a positive, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment. I also maintained student records and communicated students’ academic progress when required. Working with students of different learning abilities helped me develop patience, adaptability, and effective communication skills. This experience strengthened my teaching methodology, subject knowledge, lesson-planning abilities, classroom management, assessment skills, and confidence in handling middle and secondary school students. It also strengthened my passion for teaching and my ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
